Whenever there is talk of longevity, especially for the sake of not dying, I am reminded of the words/prayer of King David in Psalm 39, specifically verses 4-5:
Proverbs 90:12 teach us to number our days so that we may gain a heart of wisdom. I should have included this verse. Understanding our mortality makes us wise. It is a heart of wisdom to me that suggests we become emotionally wise. Heart of wisdom not mind of wisdom.
Longevity has become a bad word! But that's because there is no money in promoting the things that will actually make you healthier. Like broccoli.
Yes!! You're so right! And I LOVE broccoli.. ( well not Tim 😂)

Love this. 100% agree. Miss you guys. Need a long, high-speed bike ride with a smokin' stogie and a beer at the end. Lol
Whenever there is talk of longevity, especially for the sake of not dying, I am reminded of the words/prayer of King David in Psalm 39, specifically verses 4-5:
O LORD, make me know my end
and what is the measure of my days;
let me know how fleeting I am!
Behold, you have made my days a few handbreadths,
and my lifetime is as nothing before you.
Surely all mankind stands as a mere breath!
